The Moral Conscious of a Nation

Morality, does anyone in America even know what this word means anymore?  It seems that morals and principles are overlooked in favor of emotion, prosperity, and pleasure.  Has our national conscience been so seared, become so calloused that we no longer care about what is right? Are we so desensitized to the evil that we have become a part of it instead of fighting against it?

Have we fallen that far away from our founding principles based on Judeo-Christianity and the Moral Law of God that we go along with whatever evil the ungodly dictate and have learned to tolerate it rather than challenge it? Have we become a godless nation?

What becomes of a nation that forgets God and His Truth?

Our Founding Father knew the importance of the Bible, the Holy Scriptures and how they influence a nation and a society. These men also knew that if America ever ceased to be a great nation it would be because America forgot God and the Bible.

Ronald Reagan has a healthy reverence for God and knew that this nation would eventually head the wrong way and he was warning us that if we allow others to come along and remove our Christian Heritage from us, this nation would be 'gone under'.  How did we fall so far?  We allowed evil men to dictate to us that we could not legislate morality, while they turned around and legislated immorality. Christians fell for their lies and retreated to their safe places and watched as the very foundation of their nation was shredded by infidels, and many were brainwashed with the idea that morality was a relative thing, not absolute.

America was blessed with great wealth and prosperity and took it for granted. Like a very rich man thinks he has earned this for himself and does not acknowledge that God has blessed him with riches, this man lives a life of pleasure and does not see his need for a Savior. America became intoxicated with its wealth and became a nation full of self-indulgent pleasure seekers out for whatever makes them feel good, and developed an incessant need to be entertained constantly. America Forgot God!

Americans stood by and watch in horror as their first black President went out of his way to trample our Consitution, and destroy the balance of power, and waste as much of our tax dollars as he could. Then we all watched in horror again as those we elected to Congress did nothing to stop this madman. Why is Obama so unstoppable? Why is everyone so impotent to stop this evil?  Simple! We are a nation that forgot God, a nation that decided that we wanted a King in Washington D.C. to rule over us with an iron thumb instead of a King in Heaven who is Holy, Just yet Merciful.

We are a nation who forgot God and allowed him to be stripped away from public view, forced out of our schools, his moral law hidden from view. and removed from the walls of our school rooms and courthouses. All while Americas "Christians" watched and shook their heads but did nothing to stop it or challenge those responsible for this atrocity. A nation that forgets God is a nation that is doomed to destruction!

What of the next generation?  This should scare us all to death because with each passing generation they become further and further away from God, and I fear the next generation will be the most godless generation we have ever seen in the history of our nation. We have no one but ourselves to blame as we stood by and watched instead of fighting for our rights, all of us not just some.

It's been a long slow process that the socialists have been working on to remove God from our nation and take away all of our liberties while they impose socialism on us. Liberalism is Socialism people! In case you never realized this fact we have been putting into power the very enemies of liberty, and they have known all along that Christianity is the bulwark of liberty, so they must get rid of Christianity before they can take away all of our liberties so they open up the borders, and prop up Islam in order to destroy Christianity in America. 

Christians started Americas public schools and the Bible was used as a textbook to teach children how to read.  When the Bible and Prayer were removed from the schools a downward spiral began to take place as each generation drifted farther from God and His Truth.

Every American must, therefore, become extremely diligent in their efforts to root out every form of liberalism (socialism) from the halls of our Government by replacing them with those who are constitutionalists, and Christians.  Most of all we must return to the God of our forefathers, the God of the Bible that this nation was founded upon, whom we once had reverence for, or we ourselves will become extinct before long.

We can restore the republic and restore the authority of the law and the constitution by electing people to represent us who will do as we sent them to do. We must not be fooled into electing another unclean liberal candidate to office who cannot prove that what he says he will do, and has the record behind him or her to back up their claims. We must vote for candidates who have shown to be people of good moral character and of solid conservative principle.

The Moral Conscious of America has been dulled to the point that only a few are still able to discern right from wrong. Even in the Church, I fear there are many who have tolerated evil instead of standing up to it and fighting against it on their knees.  America has little or no moral conscious because 

I fear that if people don't change quickly that this nation will be too far gone and there will be nothing we can do to save it except to cry out to God, and maybe that is what it will take the loss of our liberties in order to wake up the sleepers from their whitewashed tombs?  In order to put the fire of God back in our Churches, we need to have the doors padlocked by a tyrannical government and be forced to meet in a cave or out in the middle of nowhere to worship God in secret?

I pray it will not come to this point but the way things look in this nation I think that this is more of a possibility than we realize, and maybe heavy persecution as they have in Communist China would be the thing that purifies the Church and the Nation.  The American people have lost the fear of God because those who profess to be Christians have lost the fear of God. We need full blown spiritual revival in the Church and throughout the entire nation.

What will it take to Restore America's Moral Conscious?

What Drives the Christian Vote?

Mark Twain wrote that it was the Christians duty to vote and to vote for clean candidates, but he also wrote that Christians keep voting for and electing unclean candidates because they vote party line instead of voting based on principle.

I contend that what drives the Christian vote is the same thing that drives the secular vote, pure greed and lust. We want to fill our own pockets instead of having our hearts filled with the Holy Spirit. Our Churches are spiritually dead so our nation is also

We want more prosperity, better jobs, higher pay, fewer taxes, smaller government, and in the end, we end up with impure people running our nation and we are still as miserable as we were before. Christians do not carry their "code of morals" to the polls with them anymore, at least not many do these days, it's all about our pocketbook, not the good book.

The Christian Church no longer calls for righteous men to stand for righteousness when they enter the polls. The Church fears the Government stooges coming in and taking away their tax-exempt status so they don't preach what they ought to preach, and things continue downhill as usual.

America is on her deathbed gasping for air, as the Christians rally behind unclean candidates who would defend her and work to restore her, the great republic that once stood for freedom and liberty now lays dying in a pool of her own greed, hate, anger, and violence.

Christian reject the righteous candidate in favor of the populous candidate. Greed is the motivator hiding behind the curtain pulling the levers. The call for party unity is a call for false unity.  We are told that light and darkness cannot dwell together in unity and that they Gospel of Jesus divides men rather than uniting them. This divisive message called the Gospel causes men to hate those who follow this message, and even drives evil men to desire to kill those that will not go along with what society demands we follow.

They do not understand how some people choose to stand on principles and convictions over a political party. They call all the louder for Americans to unite behind their populous candidate even if their candidate happens to be an immoral man it seems that does not matter to them. What matters to then is more money and more power, making American a great country again at the expense of America's soul.

How can an unclean and evil man or woman deliver the nation from evil?

How can a candidate who is less than conservative do what we truly desire to get done?  How can we trust that they will create conservative policies that will repair the damage that the last leader has done?  How can we trust any man based solely on his words? No matter how convincing he/she sounds does their record and their lifestyle measure up to what he/she says.

What drives the Christian vote should be Biblical Moral Values, Ethics, and Principles! Every professing Christian should carry their code of Christian morals and values into the polls and vote them in every election.

Trump or Cruz - What Type of Leader Should America Elect?

It's amazing to me how people is this nation are so focused on the economy, jobs, and other fiscal issues facing our nation, but not on the spiritual and moral issues that I believe are at the root of every other issue we face today.

The nation deficit is not the main deficit we need to deal with as a people, but yet it is the one that we here about constantly. Men are more interested in their pocketbooks than they are their eternity because they don't want to accept what they cannot see with their human eyes yet their souls are in mortal jeopardy, and they don't even recognize that fact.

We have two top men running for the top position in the nation.  One is a billionaire real-estate mogul, the other a US Senator. The billionaire seems to be doing very well among conservatives and even Evangelical Christians, which is a shock considering the lifestyle this man has led for many years. The other is an Evangelical Christian who is truly born-again and deeply loves God and Country.

Jesus said that a man cannot serve money and God at the same time that one of these will master you either money or Almighty God. I can hear Ted Cruz saying "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord", and the other one "I'm a Presbyterian" and "I go to Church when I can".  One gets it the other does not. One serves God the other serves himself. Wake Up People!

Both of these men claim Christianity but only one bears any real fruit for the Kingdom of God as living proof of the faith he claims, and the other not so much.  This one makes a big deal of his affiliation with his denomination as proof that he is a good Christian, yet he bears no fruit for God's Kingdom, only for his own kingdom.

American voters are leaning toward this arrogant billionaire instead of the humble man of God, Why?
Is this man's celebrity status greater than moral and spiritual values now?  Are we unable to dig deep enough to recognize substance over sensationalism? Are we as a people that shallow? Really?

Are the American people so deluded morally that they would support either a career criminal like Hillary Clinton or a fast-talking big deal man like Trump over a humble man of God Like Ted Cruz?
Are we as a nation so in love with our own sin that we reject a Godly man when he is trying to help our nation? I think everyone should take a step back a vet Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton before they go to vote in the primary, and the general election.

I think because of the depth of America's depravity the people just can't see beyond themselves to know what is right and what is wrong. It appears that we have sunk so far down spiritually that the people tend to gravitate towards the flashiness of celebrity, and are blinded by the bling of sound bites instead of looking at the substance.

Martin Luther King said something about a day when we did not judge a man because of his skin color but by the content of his character.  In the case of this election year, we should be looking past the bling to judge the character of each individual candidate. Personal moral values and behavior should be looked at carefully as we want leaders of good moral character to lead our nation.

Have we lost site of the values we were founded upon as a nation?  Do we not recognize that our founders sought to establish a nation where God was the ultimate head of the nation, and his Moral Law the foundation of our laws and our Constitution? Have we drifted that far away spiritually that we don't care anymore who sits in the Oval Office? How shall we recover and re-establish ourselves as 'One Nation Under God' when we reject God and His Word?

I believe that Sen. Ted Cruz embodies the spirit of our founding fathers, that is intent is not to raise himself up but to attempt to resurrect a dying republic from the depth of her depravity, and to re-establish the rule of law, the balance of power between the branches of Government, and to call this nation back to the God of her Forefathers. I believe Ted Cruz is the right man for the job of President of the United States of America.

Listen to you Evangelical Professing Christians!

You have this last chance to turn this nation around by electing a humble Godly leader who has real substance for a change. Who knows the Constitution backward and forwards and takes liberty very seriously. Ted understand that the reason the pilgrims came to America was to establish a new nation where they could worship freely without the Government breathing down their backs telling them what they could and could not believe, or preach from their pulpits.

They came to this land to escape religious persecution of the worst kind, and now we have reverted back to being a nation holds the Christian faith in contempt, and we have allowed our Government to become a tool of tyranny that again persecutes those who choose to follow Jesus Christ over the Government. Twice we allowed an extremely ungodly man to gain the Presidency mostly because Evangelicals stayed home, and/or believed Obama's lies and voted for him anyway.

We cannot afford to make this mistake again because we as a nation are nearing the point of no return where it will be next to impossible to save this nation from destroying itself. Think about this? Think hard about this? Can we afford to elect a self-righteous rich man from New York because of his celebrity status? Is he really running himself or running to give Hillary the win? Trump is risky business at best. Please take a hard look at this guy, don't just listen to all the flashy things he says, don't be dumb blind sheep this election season.
